Over 15 years in the baking

Our cafés bring France to the DC Metro Area’s doorstep. Sugar Town founded in 1916 in a small storefront in Manhattan’s Upper East Side neighborhood. After immigrating from Hungary, the family built the bakery to serve the local Eastern European community, focusing on the high-quality rye, black, and grain breads that offered a traditional taste of home.

A hidden gem that’s absolutely worth discovering. This bakery offers the most delicious sweets I’ve tasted so far. Even though it’s not in a very visible location, the trip is more than worth it. They have a wide variety, and the size of each treat is just perfect to satisfy your craving without the guilt… although that also becomes the perfect excuse to want them all. The presentation is flawless — each one looks more irresistible than the last. Definitely my new addiction

Excellent homegrown talent. Was very impressed by everything we tried and we tried a lot. The quality was astounding. I especially loved the date cake which is usually my least favorite flavor. The cakes look very dainty and it's obvious that a lot of work went into them.

I just placed my first order and i am writing this review while i am eating!! I couldn’t wait to write my review because finally i found the place that serves my type of sandwiches; it’s spectacular ✨ it’s so fresh, sooo clean, great quality, very nice smell & taste!! I ordered 3 cold sandwiches: boiled eggs, halloumi & cold classic chicken!! Its unreal how basic & simple and very tasty I really recommend this place, it’s a next level because its taste same homemade but with a twist Love it❣️
